Ecstatic with results

I have had several experiences with this office and all of them have been wonderful. I have been extremely happy with all of the results, especially after my surgery. I felt comfortable asking Dr. Platis questions both before and after surgery. He put me at ease with his caring and knowledge. I am so happy with the results that the only thing that upsets me is that I didn't have it done earlier! I have and will continue to recommend this office and specifically Dr. Platis.

Dr. Platis is the best

I could not be happier with the results of my facelift. I never thought I would seek plastic surgery, but I am so glad that I did. I don't have that stretched face look that so many women have who have undergone surgery. I knew I would look better, but I had no idea that the procedure would result in such a natural look. I truly think that Dr. Platis is an artist. When he says that I am ready for a tune-up, I'll be there.

Dr. Jim Platis performed my breast augmentation surgery April 2010. I can't begin to express how thrilled I aleady am with my results. I'd spent about 10 years toying with the idea of getting this surgery. I was a small 34B and always wondered how much better proportioned my pear shaped figure would be if I augmented to a full C. Well Dr. Platis helped realize that 'dream' and at nearly age 40 I absolutely love how better proportioned I am and my new look. He is truly a professional and perfectionist. And his wonderful personality and bedside manner helped put aside any fears I had which originally kept me from doing this surgery. I highly recommend Dr. Platis and have aleady done so to friends and family! He's great!

Dr. Platis is an outstanding surgeon who cares and really listens to your needs and concerns. I knew immediately that he was the one to make my vision a reality. He seems to love the challenge of finding a balance to your existing structure and making it beautiful. I had a BA, TT w/ lipo to abd & thighs. I am so excited about my new figure emerging after only 10 days out. I would highly recommend him to anyone. The only downside to his service is that I think he charges a bit more than some. But, for these results, it was worth it!

PERFECTIONIST

I has a BA/Mastopexy last year and my results were amazing. Dr. Platis explained all options pre-operatively and helped me make a informed decision. He is very caring and a perfectionist is his work. I have recommended many family and friends to him for procedures. Anyone I have talked with who he has done work on, has been happy with results. I plan on having a revison soon due to weight loss and a desire for larger implants. My scars from the initial surgery are hardly visable. I recommend him to anyone who wants perfection!!!!

I had tummy tuck with liposuction as well as a breast lift with augmentation from Dr. Platis and I am absolutely thrilled with my results. He and his office staff exceeded my expectations in all ways and I can't believe my body actually looks better now than it did before I had my two children. He also has done tummy tucks on two of my closet friends and they are so happy with their results too. My sister had a breast reduction with him and my mom had a facelift. We are all so pleased and I recommend him to all my friends and family. He's the best!

I would highly recommend Dr. Platis, and I have! He is very genuine and caring. He took all the time I needed to ask questions, he wasn't in a hurry like most doctors. He was also very accessible after my surgery. My gynecologist told me that his work is the best she's seen.

I can't say enough about Dr Platis and his staff. I made sure I did all my research and got referrals from 2 others that had prior surgery done by him. I did get an initial consult within 2 weeks in his Indiana office. At my initial consult Dr Platis spent a half hour with my husband and I. He answered all our questions, concerns and was informative on what would be my best options for the results I wanted. The pre op surgery consult was the same and he spent just as much time answering any more questions I might of had. I might add his office lady was wonderful and polite. The whole pre op surgery went quite smoothly and the Surgery Center staff was wonderful too. The day of the surgery Dr Platis again took the time to answer anymore questions and took the time to explain what was about to happen. He did call to check on me after my surgery at home, and I called him twice during the healing process with some concerns and he was very understanding and returned my calls promptly. In the beginning of this journey I was in search of a Plastic Surgeon who was a perfectionist and I must say Dr Platis is just that. The technique he uses for the tummy tuck that other doctors don't use are by far better and less painful. I am 3 months post op and I am so happy with my results. My tummy and breasts look as if they are 20 again. The best advice I can give is that, you get what you pay for. Even though another doctor might be cheaper make sure you check on what you are getting for your money. I would highly recommend Dr Platis if you are considering a Tummy tuck, Muscle Repair, Breast Lift, Breast Augmentation, or Lipo. My results are amazing.

Dr. Platis has been my doctor for several years. He performed my surgery at his medical facility in Merrilville, Indiana about 5 years ago. He is an excellent surgeon. He has a very artistic eye and never encourages you to have more procedures than you need to get the results you are looking for. I prefer my surgeon to be a little bit conservative when he recommends procedures instead of trying to sell me on "everything". He spends a great deal of time with his patients, explains procedures very well, and makes sure you have a realistic idea of what you can expect once the surgery has been done. His staff are all wonderful and caring ... I've never experienced anything like the care and attention I received at his medical facility! The staff seem genuinely fond of him ... and I think that says a lot about his character as a doctor and a person.For the care I've received both for my surgery and the occasional injections of botox and restalyne, I am a very satisfied patient.

Dr. Platis was very patient and caring. He listened to my concerns about my figure and what results I hoped for. He seemed genuinely excited to help me feel better about the way I looked. He explained the procedures and what I could expect afterwards. I had breast augmentation and abdominoplasty with liposuction to the thighs. Dr. Platis called twice personally to check on me after the surgery. I could not be happier with the outcome! I would recommend him to anyone.

I had Restyne filler around my nose and mouth and mouth, then botox on my nose. Everyone I delt with office was amazing. Easy to talk to and I got an immediate sense of comfort with the whole experience. Not to mention the office space itself was invited but professional at the same time. The Retalyne was visible immediately although I have just the tiny of nics on my cheeks that as a, guy look more like shaving accidents. I would highly recommend this staff and office to anyone who's thinking about doing this.
One last thing, I told them I was considering other procesures and she told me I didn't need them so she's definitely not trying to upsale in any way, which I appreciated.

I first met Dr. Platis approx. 6 years ago when I was looking to get a breast augmentation. I had done my research thoroughly as I was not new to Plastic Surgery and new what to look for. I had one previous consultation with a recommended doctor and did not like him at all. Met with another who was so-to-say "known" as the "Boob Doctor" of Chicago, and what a BOOB he turned out to be, he missed my appointment and then called to offer a discount, NO Thank you. Then I went to see Dr. Platis; upon my arrival I was greeted by his wonderful staff, they offered me water and made me feel comfortable, they had me fill out my information. As I went to sit down after turning in my papers not a second went by when Dr. Platis presented himself to me and said he was ready, unheard of for doctors; impressed and an immediate star. I told him that I had had lipo in the past and was looking to get a breast augmentation. He was thorough and very attentive to my questions and concerns, he advised me on a natural approach, the tear drop, saline implant: PERFECT. My husband wanted to meet with him for a second consultation as he was not there on the first and Dr. Platis was more than accommodating. I went ahead with my procedure; he was there when I recovered, he called to check on my well being, he took care of me as if I were family. I could not be more happy today with my results. My breast look amazing, they don't look like implants, they look natural. I have seen Dr.Platis for a revised liposuction on my hips and thighs and a tummy tuck, ALL done impeccably. I would NEVER think of referring anyone to anyone else other than Dr.Platis, he is truly a man of Character. I look better today at 45 than I did 15 years ago and feel better with who I am, Thank You Dr. Platis
